The 130th quarter (also Irkutsk Sloboda) is a specially created zone of historical development in Irkutsk, it includes dozens of monuments of architecture and the history of the city. The quarter is located in the southern part of the “Historical Center of Irkutsk” at the foot of the Cross Mountain in Oktyabrsky District, it has the shape of a triangle. The north-western corner stands at the intersection of several streets: Lenin, Sedov, Timiryazev, the Red Uprising and the 3rd of July. The south-western corner of the district is intersected by the streets of the 3rd of July and Kozhov, the southeast by Kozhova and Sedova.
